According to on-chain analyst Ember (@EmberCN), investment firm Blockchain Capital transferred its entire holding of 216,000 AAVE tokens (approximately $24.8 million) to Coinbase Prime, completing its full exit. Blockchain Capital accumulated a total of 233,000 $AAVE tokens between October 2020 and March 2023 at an average price of approximately $94, and was previously the largest institutional holder of AAVE. In December 2024, during the peak price of $AAVE, the firm sold 16,900 tokens (approximately $5.04 million) via FalconX. This transfer to Coinbase Prime represents its remaining full position. If the transferred tokens are sold, the firm’s total profit on $AAVE would amount to approximately $7.9 million. The previous week, investment firm ParaFi Capital also sold its AAVE holdings and reallocated to SKY.
