Based on Bitcoin.com, Harvard Management Company’s latest SEC 13F filing shows that Blackrock’s iShares Bitcoin Trust (IBIT) has become the largest position in its U.S. public equities portfolio. As of Nov. 14, 2025, Harvard holds 6.8 million IBIT shares valued at approximately $442.9 million, making up 21.04% of its public portfolio. This marks a 257% increase in holdings from Q2 2025 and positions IBIT above major equities like Microsoft and Amazon. Analyst Eric Balchunas noted the move as a significant validation for ETFs, particularly for a traditionally conservative institution like Harvard. The filing reflects a $2.105 billion public securities portfolio, with IBIT’s stake representing about 1% of the university’s total $56.9 billion endowment.
