In accordance with Coinrise, Bitmain, the world’s largest crypto mining machine manufacturer, is under U.S. national security investigation. The Department of Homeland Security is examining whether Bitmain’s products pose risks, particularly regarding remote access and proximity to sensitive infrastructure. Bitmain has denied all allegations, stating its products do not have remote control features and that it complies with U.S. laws. Meanwhile, the company announced plans to open its first U.S. manufacturing facility by the end of Q3 2025, aiming to reduce shipping delays and logistics risks. The facility, to be built in either Texas or Florida, will employ around 250 local workers.
