Based on Bijié Wǎng, a Bitcoin whale, Owen Gunden, who has held Bitcoin since 2011, has reportedly sold all of his 11,000 BTC, valued at $1.3 billion. According to Arkham Intelligence, Gunden has been gradually transferring his assets over the years, with increased activity in the past month, including sending over $344 million to centralized exchange Kraken. The final transaction, a $230 million BTC transfer to Kraken, marked the completion of his sale. Gunden’s net worth in Bitcoin fluctuated over 14 years, peaking at $936 million in 2021 and dropping to $209 million during the 2022 bear market. As of November 12, 2025, his holdings were valued at $561 million, making him the eighth-largest Bitcoin holder. Meanwhile, Bitcoin’s price has dropped 31% from its recent high of $126,080 to $86,466, raising concerns about a potential bear market.
