As per Bijié Wǎng, Bitcoin rewards app Lolli now supports Lightning withdrawals after integrating with Spark, an open-source Layer 2 protocol developed by Lightspark. The integration aims to address user complaints following the acquisition of Lolli by Thesis* in July. Spark enables instant, low-cost, self-custody Bitcoin transactions and is fully compatible with the Lightning Network. Lightspark, founded in 2022 by David Marcus, former head of Facebook’s stablecoin project, has also launched a grid API to facilitate cross-border payments and a universal currency address standard. The integration with Lolli is expected to enhance user access to BitcoinFi through the Thesis* ecosystem.
