ChainCatcher reports that despite Bitcoin’s more than 50% decline from its October 2025 high, spot Bitcoin ETFs have seen approximately $1.5 billion in net inflows over the past five trading days, with nearly all major issuers recording significant capital inflows. Bloomberg Intelligence ETF expert Eric Balchunas exclaimed, “Even I’m impressed,” attributing this buying surge to older “Baby Boomer” investors (born between 1946 and 1964), joking that they’ve “stepped in again to save the market.” Analysts note that institutional investors also play a crucial role. Data shows that of the top 25 Bitcoin ETF holders, 17 have consistently increased their positions since October last year. The total holdings in Bitcoin ETFs now exceed $107 billion, with institutions collectively controlling approximately 12% of the total supply. Nate Geraci, co-founder of the ETF Institute, stated: “ETF investors are clearly not panicking and selling.”
