As reported by Jinse, SlowMist's Yu Chou released an analysis report on the over $100 million theft from Balancer. The report states that the root cause was a precision loss in integer fixed-point calculations of scaling factors within Balancer v2's Composable Stable Pool, based on Curve StableSwap's Stable Math. Attackers exploited this by making small trades with low liquidity to amplify the error and accumulate significant profits.
