According to BitcoinWorld, a new survey by CoinDesk and Protocol Theory reveals that 25% of adult internet users in the Asia-Pacific region now own digital assets. The study, which surveyed 4,020 individuals across 10 countries, also found that 18% of respondents actively use stablecoins. Factors driving adoption include high smartphone penetration, currency volatility, and high remittance costs. The report highlights benefits such as financial inclusion, lower transaction costs, and access to global markets. However, challenges like regulatory uncertainty and security concerns remain. The survey suggests the region is on track to become a global leader in crypto integration.
