As per Chainthink, on November 19, financial services provider Apex Group is set to acquire London-based investment platform Globacap, which holds a U.S.-regulated broker-dealer license. The acquisition aims to support Apex's regulated fund tokenization initiatives in the U.S., as institutional interest in blockchain-based real-world assets (RWA) grows. Earlier this year, UK crypto exchange Archax had also expressed interest in acquiring Globacap's U.S. operations, but the deal did not go through. Representatives from Apex, Archax, and Globacap have declined to comment on the matter.
