Ant Group has launched its first AI glasses, Willit, on Taobao for 899 RMB. The product includes sunglasses and photochromic models featuring real-time translation, AI conversation, and image recognition. Sold by Beijing Ant Zolo Technology, the glasses represent a new development in AI + crypto news. On-chain data indicates rising interest in consumer AI hardware. Payment features are not yet available.

According to monitoring by Beating, Ant Group has quietly launched its first self-developed AI glasses, Willit, which are now officially available for sale on Taobao. The accompanying mobile app, Willit AI, has also been released on app stores. Product details and business registration information indicate that the seller of Willit is Beijing Ant Zorro Technology Co., Ltd., with Zhao Wenbiao, Senior Vice President of Ant Group and CEO of Ant Digital Technologies, serving as the legal representative. As Ant Group’s first foray into the consumer AI hardware market, Willit avoids high hardware markups by entering at an accessible price point of 899 yuan; the sunglasses version has already sold over 1,000 units on Taobao. In terms of core features, Willit is available in two styles—sunglasses and photochromic—and supports functions such as photo and video capture, calls and music playback, real-time translation, voice-to-text transcription, AI conversation, and image recognition. The image recognition feature integrates practical, everyday scenarios like calorie detection, while its flagship capabilities include AI Q&A, an AI personal assistant, and third-party service integration. Store customer service confirmed that payment functionality is not yet available on Willit. Although it lacks direct payment interaction capabilities, Willit demonstrates strong synergy between voice, vision, and large language models, positioning Ant Group to seize the next-generation mainstream interaction interface and gain a strategic advantage in the battle for AI-era entry points. From a capital and operational perspective, Willit is clearly rooted in Ant Group’s technology and ecosystem. Tianyancha and public records show that Beijing Ant Zorro Technology Co., Ltd. is 100% owned by Beijing Lingzhou Technology Co., Ltd., the core entity behind ZOLOZ, Ant Group’s trusted identity authentication platform. The operator of the Willit AI app compatible with the glasses is Sasi Digital Technology (Beijing) Co., Ltd., which is wholly owned by Ant Digital Future (Beijing) Technology Co., Ltd. Both entities have Zhao Wenbiao as their legal representative. Zhao’s direct role as legal representative and manager of Willit’s operating entities underscores Ant Group’s strategic emphasis on capturing the consumer AI hardware entry point.
