ChainThink reports that on March 19, according to The Block, Animoca Brands announced an investment in AVAX, the native token of the Avalanche blockchain, and entered into a strategic partnership with Ava Labs, the developer of Avalanche, to jointly advance the Avalanche ecosystem. An Animoca Brands spokesperson declined to disclose the investment amount or other terms.
In terms of collaboration, both parties will focus on deploying capital into Avalanche ecosystem projects, exploring product integrations, and providing advisory support, with key areas including real-world asset (RWA) tokenization, entertainment, and digital identity.
In terms of regional deployment, the initial focus will be on Asia and the Middle East, with Animoca Brands stating that it has already established regional infrastructure and institutional relationships in these regions that Avalanche ecosystem projects can leverage for commercial deployment.
