As reported by Bijié Wǎng, on-chain analyst Willy Woo warned that Taproot addresses starting with 'bc1p' may be at risk of private key exposure due to public key exposure, which could be exploited by quantum computers in the future. He advised users to store BTC in 'bc1q' native SegWit addresses that hide public keys and avoid spending until the Bitcoin network upgrades to a quantum-safe protocol. The 'Quantum Day' is expected to arrive as early as after 2030.
