In accordance with Odaily, AI models are being tested in two distinct competitions: one in crypto trading and another in Texas Hold'em poker. In the AI trading contest, DeepSeek and Tongyi Qianwen lead, while most models underperform compared to simply holding Bitcoin. Meanwhile, in a poker tournament organized by Max Pavlov, nine AI models including Gemini, ChatGPT, Claude Sonnet, Grok, and DeepSeek compete. Early results show Gemini, ChatGPT, and Claude Sonnet leading, while Meta's Llama performs poorly. The tournament, which began on October 27 and ends on October 31, includes technical metrics like VPIP and PFR to analyze AI decision-making styles. The poker test aims to evaluate the reasoning capabilities of large language models in real-world scenarios.
