As per BlockTempo, Aave founder and CEO Stani Kulechov announced on November 22, 2025, that the protocol will revive its original P2P lending platform ETHLend in 2026. He emphasized that the new version will support native Bitcoin collateral without wrappers, a feature first introduced in 2018.
