Project Tachyon, Shielded Labs, Valar Group, Zcash Foundation, and ZODL have jointly announced a shared timeline for submitting proposals, community discussions, and voting. Key dates: - November 8: Deadline for proposal submissions. - November 9: Publication of survey questions and answer options. - November 9–15: Community discussions and feedback period. - November 16–30: Voting period for ZEC holders and community panels. If consensus is reached after voting, the NU 7.1 network upgrade will be supported to implement the approved proposal. The primary goal of this upgrade is to activate the approved ZIP proposal; major features and transaction format changes will not be included in NU 7.1.
