I used to encounter countless Web3 projects that were as terrible as poop—constantly freezing up and becoming a complete mess. Now, even a high school student could write something just as good—or better—than those old shit projects. Building a fork of UniV3? These days, one person can knock it out in a week. Looking back at all those awful SWAP protocols from before. Now, just hand any of them over to Fable or Astra for UI smoothness and core optimizations, and they won’t freeze up anymore. So there’s really no such thing as a “DeFi project” anymore—because nowadays, any high schooler can throw together a UniV3 clone.
