Polygon shutting down zkEVM is just another reminder of how much the ecosystem narrative has shrunk. Be honest. If Polymarket disappeared tomorrow, what would be the first thing people associate with Polygon? Without Polymarket, Polygon will become gon(e) Because right now it feels like Polymarket is carrying the entire brand on its back while everyone else is pretending this isnt happening. That is a pretty uncomfortable position to be in.
