Yea they tell you hire artist but they never share the dark side of hiring artist in and around web3. -Most will in fact rug you -The language AND cultural barriers can make it almost impossible to convey the MOST IMPORTANT aspects of your vision and some jobs become a glorified commission instead of a partnership -Lots of the artist here have worked for people who consider you competition and not community. They will actively sabotage, delay or give away your designs to other founders. Double agents everywhere in web3 -The most popular nft artist here gets tons of jobs and when I approached about getting work THEIR PRICES ARE ASTRONOMICAL, so either they cut deals with certain people or all these projects are dishing out 10S OF THOUSANDS of dollars for these projects that are coming out. I AM BLESSED TO HAVE BEEN ABLE TO FIND SOME REAL ASS ARTIST TO WORK WITH WHO ALSO BELIEVE IN ME AS MUCH AS I BELIEVE IN THEM! I think people are just build their credit by taking loans and then having their "community" pay it back. Both raising their credit IRL and their blockchain provenance in web3.
