This auction uses a Sealed Bid format— you can’t see what others are bidding, so instead of matching public prices, you set your own bid amount based on your own judgment. You don’t see anyone else’s hand—you decide your own. So I used one of the Airdrop rewards I received during the last ZAMA yapping and bid 1,400 cZAMA. It’s about reinvesting my airdrop rewards back into the ecosystem. Now, if only good results follow suit—haha. Also, early this morning, Ethereum gas fees spiked up to $8, but now I see they’ve dropped significantly. This yapping had over 10,000 participants, but we still don’t know how rewards will be distributed. I suspect it might be tiered—but I hope everyone who ran with Fungo gets at least one gift.
