Day 21/90 of My Personal Cybersecurity Challenge 🔐 Yesterday, I went deeper into Ethical Hacking by learning how vulnerabilities are found. One concept that stuck with me: A scanner finds. It doesn't break in. Think of a vulnerability scanner like a smoke detector. It helps identify where a problem may exist and how serious it could be, but it doesn't put out the fire. I also learned about: → Vulnerabilities → CVE & CVSS → OpenVAS / Greenbone → Nuclei → NVD → Exploit-DB → Searchsploit The interesting part is learning how security teams identify weaknesses, research them, understand their severity, and decide what needs attention first. Another step into the attacker's mindset, but with a defensive purpose. Still learning. Still practising.
