Nice!!!! @ambire team taking security seriously. 👏 This will help protect users from silent redirection of funds which happened to me using @MetaMask wallet. Metamask doesn’t give a s*** about this risk. I reported it, they deleted the Reddit post below. Says everything about them. Is @ambire the only wallet team taking security seriously and implementing these type of notifications? It was me who reported this risk to the Ambire team not that long ago, a guy who built a competitor product (@xnsname). Thought I’ll help protect the remaining ENS users as the ENS doesn’t seem to care about secure integrations of their protocol in wallets. They’ve been busy doing research how to increase renewal prices instead. 🤷♂️ Btw, if you integrate XNS, you don’t need these type of notifications as name-address mappings are permanent and non-transferable. It can co-exist with ENS as .eth namespace is disallowed in XNS, so no collision risk.
