**Bravado, smoke, and mirrors.** This administration started with real short-term potential through executive orders. Republicans then failed to lock almost any of it into statute. Only a sliver of change was ever codified, and that failure sits with them. DOGE received no meaningful Republican support. Rogue judges could have been confronted. Broader, lasting shifts were possible. They were not pursued. Republicans refuse to own their own decisions. They keep the filibuster so they can keep pointing at Democrats. Spineless self-enrichment is the operating principle. Imagine if they had simply repealed the pile of ambiguous, six-of-one-half-a-dozen-of-the-other legislation and pulled the country closer to the founding documents. That is not what happened. No surprise: the pendulum will swing back toward the liberal direction. If the midterms produce a 60-vote majority capable of overriding a presidential veto, watch the filibuster appear and disappear as needed and watch large changes follow. The test then becomes whether Democrats remember what voters actually chose in the last election. It is clearly evident the majority of conservatives that historically voted for Trump to change reform America back to common sense rule, are not dittoheads or bootlickers in that, we clearly and loudly denounce Trump's decisions made since the Epstein skeleton fell from the closet and the inept Republicans who refuse to listen to their constituents.
