buying used hardware means trusting a screenshot. you can't tell if a GPU was mined on, repaired, or still under warranty. pretty fun if @TapeOutWorld had a passport for hardware. every repair, part, warranty event, and ownership change is signed on @XLayerOfficial. the buyer scans the tag and sees the full history. a TapeOut circuit enforces the rules: who can update the passport, what counts as a valid repair, and when the warranty transfers. no company can rewrite the history. start with used GPUs and DePIN miners. these are expensive devices, and buyers need proof before they pay. then phones, consoles, and anything with a serial number. refurbishers can prove their work, and marketplaces can verify devices through an API. buyers get a history they can check before they pay. would you pay more for a device with a verified history? what would you want to check first?
