4 Things That Slowed Down My Progress in Trading 📉 Looking back at my trading journey, these are some of the things I struggled with and, honestly, still work on today. 1. Revenge Trading: I was always trying to recover whatever I lost immediately. Instead of accepting a loss and moving on, I'd look for another trade just to make the money back. Messed me up a lottt. 2. Jumping Between Strategies: I was constantly looking for a better strategy whenever I experienced losses. I kept switching instead of taking time to understand one system properly. Had to do a bunch of back test so as to be confidence with one strategy. 3. Overtrading: I felt like I had to be in the market every day. Sometimes I'd take trades even when my setup wasn't there. Sometimes out of boredom. 4. Poor Risk Management: I was always eager to grow my account quickly, so I'd sometimes risk more than I should have.
