I’m tired today. Not from the market. But from working 11 days straight, with 24/7 shifts the last 7 days. I will be working my 12th straight day tomorrow. I know I post too frequently for you to believe that I work hard, but I am extremely efficient and good at what I do. I don’t spend any money anyway, and time is more valuable. At some point, enough is enough. It doesn’t matter if the market pumps or dumps 10% a day, because it doesn’t matter what my net worth is. It’s meaningless numbers to me if it doesn’t change what I do. The surprising thing is that I like my day job. It makes a difference, it makes people feel listened to, it makes me feel somewhat special because not many people can do what I do, and a lot of great relationships get built from it. But I like the market more.
