In an apartment elevator, a man kept pressing the close button. Suddenly, someone running from afar could be heard approaching. Just before the doors closed, the man removed his hand from the button. The woman, panting as she rushed in, caught her breath and said, “Oh, thank you so much!” The man merely nodded, as if it were no big deal. But as she stepped off at the next floor, she added, “You’re going to have a good day today.” Even a small act of kindness can change a stranger’s entire day.
