Slowing down or changing tracks in race doesn't mean you are over and finished with this race. It is not neccessary that changing paths to win race will gruntee in wining race but yeah you will learn or get accumalated un failed attempts. Looking at your courses where you went wrong or which move was or is wrong evertime you make one is important but that also can be time taking and requires many fail attempts.
