did the Philippine govt really manage to mess w @discord now 😭 smh i literally cant send a message 😭 i get wanting platforms to be accountable and have proper channels w the govt but why does it always feel like the first instinct is to threaten restrictions and put pressure on big companies instead of actually fixing the problems on the ground? and if the goal is accountability, transparency and protecting people, i really hope thats what this is actually abt and not finding another way to squeeze money or leverage out of companies that operate here bc ordinary people end up dealing w the consequences 😭
