This is probably the easiest brief a PR person will ever get, but also the worst long term play for the exec asking for it. Before that, if you founded a company or sit in its c-suite, and have 0 takes on your own industry, the thought leadership piece is not the problem. If you do have takes and just need help articulating them, great. That's the job. But outsourcing your opinion itself doesn't hold up. Someone will ask you a follow up on it at a conference, a call, or on social media, and it'll be obvious that you're larping.
