★☆☆☆☆ — "My First Bear" This was my first bear market, and I'd like a refund on the experience. The price falling was fine, in the sense that gravity is fine. Expected. Unpleasant. What I wasn't ready for was how long it goes on. It's not a crash, it's a slow leak, and you just sit in it. The thing that almost pushed me out wasn't losses at all. It was the infighting. The endless, exhausting arguing inside the community. At one point I wanted to rage quit the whole space, not because of the chart, but because of the noise. That surprised me. The upside is real, though. I know how this feels now, from the inside, which means I'll actually be able to show up for my audience the next time the mood turns. And hopefully next time I can separate myself from the mood a bit better, too. Glad it's behind us. Holy cow. (To the 90% drawdown veterans... yes, I know, this was a baby bear.) 😁
