The merged release manifest of my Android app declares 23 permissions. I wrote 17 of them. The other six came in with libraries. Three ACCESS_ADSERVICES entries from play-services-ads-api 25.4.0, WAKE_LOCK and BIND_GET_INSTALL_REFERRER_SERVICE from play-services-measurement 23.2.0, and one from androidx.core 1.16.0. The one-line grep I first counted with reported 22 and 15. It misses a permission whose android:name sits on the line after the tag, which is how WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE is written when it carries a maxSdkVersion. https://t.co/PCgT28y5Ca
