Power minister says Govt of Pakistan will no longer sell or buy power and those who need it can buy it directly from distribution companies - idea is for the Govt of Pakistan to get out of the business of buying and selling electricity which in principle is good if you want to have a competitive market for electricity But somewhere along the way the Government of Pakistan and the minister In particular forgot to explain how this would work for say residential homes and/or small users of electricity like households and so on Also forgot to explain that if you do manage to find a seller of electricity the transmission and power lines are still owned by the Government Clearly explaining things simply to the lay person is not a strong point of the government
