After FomoPeek, I started wondering: Before installing an unfamiliar tool, what can you actually check? How long has the domain been around? Who are the developers? What permissions does it request? Has anyone criticized it? Are the KOLs promoting it being paid? All the information is out there—scattered across ten different places—and you have to manually gather it each time. What if there was a website where you just enter a name and get a report saying, “Can you trust this?” Would you proactively check? Or only think to look after you’ve been scammed?
