A method called BitWhisper enables communication between two physically isolated PCs (air-gapped) by having one increase CPU load to generate heat, which the other detects using its built-in temperature sensors. Indeed, in this AI era, the significance of such methods has changed. Moreover, any physical phenomenon that computers can manipulate—such as sound, magnetic fields, vibration, or light—can theoretically be used for communication. But when asked directly, AI suggests: why go through all that trouble when you can simply use legitimate communication channels in a way that evades monitoring?
