Remove expectations, and you’ll start living a more peaceful life because you simply won’t be disappointed as easily. People will hurt you, betray you, backstab you, cheat you, disrespect you, dishonor you, and sometimes show you how ungrateful they can be. But if you expect people to treat you well simply because you treated them well, you may end up getting hurt badly. Do good because that’s who you are, not because you expect the same in return. Expect less from people. Protect your peace. Human beings can be difficult to deal with. Remove expectations and start living.
