made an espresso today and it was gone before i even got properly comfortable. maybe three sips. kind of funny when you think about how much has to happen for something that disappears that quickly. the coffee has to be grown, picked, processed, shipped, roasted, blended, ground and finally extracted. then i drink the result in about a minute. i was thinking about that while looking through @Barbera_1870 again. coffee brands talk a lot about flavor, and obviously that matters. but i've started appreciating the amount of patience hidden behind the cup too. especially with a company that has been doing this since 1870. generations of people adjusting something as small as how a bean is roasted, just so the person at the other end doesn't have to think about any of it. we just get the easy part. sit down. smell it. drink it. and complain that the cup is too small. probably making another one. #Espresso #ItalianCoffee
