I still have an old folder somewhere filled with screenshots of payout proofs. This is a eulogy for Bitcoin paid-to-click websites. Back in 2011, I would spend hours clicking ads for tiny fractions of BTC. A few satoshis here. A few satoshis there. Most days the numbers barely moved. I knew the names of every faucet and PTC site worth visiting. I knew which ones paid instantly, which ones delayed withdrawals, and which ones would disappear overnight without warning. The funny part is that nobody around me thought Bitcoin mattered. It was just internet money earned from spare time. By 2015, most of those sites were gone. Some vanished. Some stopped paying. Some couldn't survive as Bitcoin grew beyond the tiny experiment we first discovered. Looking back, I don't miss the earnings. I miss the feeling. Opening a website and collecting a few satoshis felt like participating in something nobody fully understood yet. The rewards were small. The curiosity was huge. Maybe that's why @RallyOnChain resonates with me. It reminds me that participation still has value. People contribute, the process is visible, and rewards are distributed transparently instead of behind closed doors. Rest in peace, Bitcoin PTC sites. You probably created more early Bitcoin users than you'll ever get credit for.
