A wire running under your jacket was part of street fashion in the 2000s and 2010s. Price and accessibility Good, durable wired earphones, like the legendary Sennheiser MX or Panasonic models, cost almost nothing. Basic wireless options at the same price often offer much lower sound quality and quickly fail because of the tiny batteries degrading over time.
