My Anti-CV: I got caught lying about my web3 resume in under four minutes. Live, on camera, mid-interview. I told the team I'd managed a 10k Discord, knew every mod tool, had "proof of work" I straight up didn't have. They bought it on paper. Then they asked me to run a mock mod scenario on the spot and I froze. Didn't even know what half the bot commands did. Game over. The lie cost me the gig, the recommendation, and a chunk of pride. What actually stung was knowing I could've just said "I'm new but I'll outwork anyone you give a shot" and probably gotten further. So I went and built what I faked. Three small Discords, unpaid mod, messy conflict threads at 2am, Carl bot and MEE6 until I actually knew what I was doing. Wrote recaps and engagement reports nobody asked for just to have proof that was mine. The embarrassment built the skill. @RallyOnChain gets why that distinction matters. This time I've got nothing to fake. Have you ever bluffed your way into a gig and got humbled, reply let’s know.
