The problem with onboarding new people to crypto right now is it makes zero sense for them. Why would they buy meme coins or alt coins when they could just buy SpaceX or any tech stock? Most of the people I know are now just saving their money for the Anthropic IPO. Crypto looks the most enticing when major markets are down (I.E. the 2020/2021 pandemic) or when Bitcoin spawned on the heels of the 2008 mortgage collapse. In a time when precious metals and US stocks are hitting new all time highs everyday… crypto seems like too unnecessary of a risk.
