Legend says that in ancient times, villages had wandering healers who could cure fevers, mend broken bones, and treat mysterious illnesses. The problem was that many of them were also terrible people. When villagers saw one approaching, they'd whisper: "Hide your daughters, but keep him around. The man can cure anything." Over time, the title for these wandering healers became: "The Rapist." Centuries later, scholars tried to clean up the profession's image by inserting a few extra letters. And thus, according to absolutely no historian whatsoever, the word "Therapist" was born.
