🧵 I'm going to start explaining my process as an artist so that you might be able to find what I'm doing more interesting.Hawa Cat was born of the NFT art market in 2020. I was in crypto and I needed to start making NFT's so that means I have to start doing digital art. I have no idea where to start I have been painting and sculpting for a few decades, I didn't know what paint in digital. So Cryptokitties @CryptoKitties the most famous NFT, so I just decided to make a cat. I never made any cartoon drawings before. So a little bit use a crypto kitties as a reference. Maybe you think that's terrible but a lot of the best art comes from that. I was in a hurry and just dove in. So six years later I'm completely obsessed with my cat. There are hundreds of digital art cats in NFT cats. So why am I bothering? For me how a cat has become an expression of so many things I think about and feel as a person different philosophical ideas that I have and I love the experimentation with finding a new way to express an art. I've always been innovator I've never been a follower so little by little overtime creating something that's https://t.co/czs8gQ06QL have to realize I was seriously brain injured in 2020 and I've had a really stressful crazy five years I've had a really stressful crazy five years as probably most people have. I wasn't just sitting around drawing cats but it is definitely a stable of my art process. I'm showing this close-up because a cat has gone through so many iterations or levels. When I see my early how are cats I think they look like a five-year-old did it. So in digital art you know you can save copies of things you can redo them you can reuse them in different ways. What I like about this cap that I'm doing right now is that I have time to go in and put more more details in it so right now I'm making very fine cat hairs. Oh yeah that I mentioned I kind of stole this first style from Bored Ape Yact Club @BoredApeYC of course. Frankly I've spent my life being so uniquely creative that it takes people 10 or 15 years to catch on to what I'm doing, so I decided to grab some things that were popular and work with that. So the first how cats were using these smudging tool to make some fur. But now I clean up the smudges and I'm actually giving it lines and also some ipencil marks. As a painter, I'm not really trying to make artwork like other people. I know that most NFT character art is very smooth very perfect. That doesn't interest me. Also why I made the eyes very realistic because why not? I really don't wanna be full character artist and I want to find something different. I've always been very interested in Japanese art early 20th century which is working with a lot of flat pattern.I am still experimenting and coming up with something that I like. I'm a true artist then I can't just do the same thing over and over and I'm not a production company Hawa Cat was born of the NFT art market in 2020. I'm a true artist then I can't just do the same thing over and over and I'm not a production company and I don't have a team. I like the AI backgrounds sometimes I'm manipulate the AI, by that I just mean painted over it or smudge it or collage it. I have art dealers that's how my paintings and my paintings high price, but I'm busy making cats for which I really made almost no money. I'm really going to get my stuff out there and really perfect my Hawa Cat Universe. I do have contemporary art museum prints for sale and some merch. The art dealers that sell my work they do not like my cats at all. I mean you could tell my people's reaction if they like your work or not. I know who I am as an artist and I know I'm always ahead of my time. So it might take some time for this kind of crossover art to become popular. In the meantime I'm working my ass off night and day to get professional I'm building an openclaw bots to do my social media posting and using ChatGPT and Groq @grok you help me build my website which is doing very well. Being a solo artist is an unbelievable amount of work. I do have a lot of good Hawa Cats in my iPad. But you could be the best artist in the world and if you don't do the business and social media very well nobody will ever know. So this year, I will master communication I've been working on it for a long time. You see this ⬇️ picture, I will add the full picture below which I like very much. I just wanted to show the details. It has a handmade look because it is very much handmade. If you like it please comment and share and if you know any our galleries who are looking for this kind of work or collectors please tag them or tell them or let me know! I really need help because I'm working way too hard! This is contemporary art y'all!
