Honestly, I think this mindset can become a negative one disguised as self-preservation. It may make a person feel better in the moment, but it can also prevent them from accepting situations for what they are and reflecting on themselves. Not every exclusion is a sign that everyone else is wrong. Sometimes it’s an opportunity to look inward, evaluate our own actions, and grow from the experience. Growth often comes from understanding why something happened, not just walking away from it. You shouldn’t beg for acceptance, but you also shouldn’t automatically assume every closed door is someone else’s fault. Wisdom comes from knowing the difference.
