This is an experience I would never put on my resume. At one point, I worked tirelessly to chase every trending project in Web3. Seeing others spot early opportunities, I wanted to prove I could catch the next breakout. So I spent countless hours studying communities, following discussions, and tracking progress. But eventually, I realized part of that time wasn’t research at all— I was just afraid of missing out. Once, I invested significant time following a project—even helping organize data and writing my own analysis. In the end, the project didn’t go as expected. Even more awkwardly, looking back, I realized half of why I believed in it was because everyone else was excited. I thought I was analyzing the market— but often, I was just being carried along by emotion. My strangest skill might be spending hours studying why an ordinary tweet resonated with people. I used to think this was a waste of time. But gradually, I realized that beyond technology and product, what truly drives a project is why people choose to participate. I once avoided sharing my thoughts publicly because I feared being wrong. As a result, many ideas stayed trapped in my head. Later, I learned that publicly making mistakes is more valuable than staying silent forever— because every correction brings me closer to true understanding. That’s also why I follow @RallyOnChain. It showed me that on-chain value doesn’t just come from outcomes—it comes from authentic participation, influence, and community interaction. If my resume shows the version of me I want others to see, then these failures and mistakes are what actually brought me here. What’s a story in your anti-resume that you’d never put on LinkedIn?
