The leading region in fruit and vegetable products has been confirmed: 43% of exports come from this region. In the first quarter of 2026, Turkey exported $511 million worth of fruit and vegetable products, with the Aegean Region accounting for $221 million—43% of the total—maintaining its leadership position. The Aegean Region alone accounted for 95% of dried tomato exports, 94% of pickled cucumber exports, and 90% of pickled pepper exports.
