I don’t know how many of you are aware of this, but if you download a Locally AI model like @googlegemma 4 from Google, you can run it directly on your iPhone without needing Wi-Fi or any internet connection. That could actually save your life. Imagine you’re in the desert or the mountains and you lose all signal. You need to figure out whether something is safe to eat. You can take a picture, run it through the model, and it can help you identify it.
