the thing about UBI is that there are a lot of high functioning, driven people out there who are not going to accept equality with a bunch of layabouts the only way I see this being rectified is that UBI exists as a baseline, but people can advance themselves by choosing to work but idk wtf the jobs are going to look like and who actually gets to have them but in this scenario there isn't universal "high" income, because then what do the workers make.. "super high" income?
