Today, I suddenly realized something: What is the greatest difference (evolution) in cognition between us and our parents’ generation? Two shifts: They trusted the state and government, while we are transitioning to trust in system security—such as Google, Tesla, and blockchain. They feared AI and were terrified of pacemakers or titanium bone replacements; we, however, are filled with longing for human mechanical ascension and a fervent passion for interstellar colonization. I believe it’s precisely because a new generation of young people continually look up at the stars that our species continues to endure, evolve, and thrive.
