I have made a decision that after a career as an IT consultant/contractor I’m getting out while I’m still reasonably young. 30th September 2026 I’m turning in my wings. I’m finished with the hassle and toil of corporate clients. Bitcoin has already freed me. I meant to stop last year but the pull of more fiat drew me back in. It’s been great for stacking Bitcoin but sometimes you have to ask yourself, is this life toxic? Yes it is. IT managed Services and dealing with the bureaucrats eats your soul 🤣 I want to work on my own projects and build some other revenue streams now to match what I was earning before, and as the next bull run happens, it’s all good anyway. @AAStack reminded me by his immense actions. Sometimes you got to just stop and walk away. 6 months runway now for me to get my projects all complete or handed over. Hope you all have a plan and can find a way to exit any toxic work you are in to get to something that gives more freedom. You get used to intense stress but it is not great for mental or physical health. Always on call. Always under the wrong kind of pressure. Hope this post gives you food for thought!
