i’ve never been big on organized religion but i’ve always seen myself as a spiritual guy who respects other people's belief systems i believe there’s real wisdom in those old holy books like the Bible that a lot of people write off as outdated or irrelevant to me, they’re not just random rules from the past they’re organic expressions of how humanity figured shit out over thousands of years and they're most definitely not random these teachings evolved naturally as survival tools for > building trust > finding ways to keep order > controlling our worse impulses > stopping societies from sliding into chaos they gave people a basic foundation simple principles that actually work kinda like cultural software that stuck around because it helped us cooperate and make it through tough times what's your take on this?
